Hurricane Hill aka. The Stairs

Next to the 108 steps that lead down to the school is also a slide that the kids have made. It runs the whole length of the stairs.  It runs through trees and every time they do it I cringe and hold my breath hoping they do not hit a tree and die.  Okay, it is a bit dramatic, but still I do fear it.  Some of the kids have appropriately named the hill Hurricane Hill...where you die.  Enter at your own risk.  They make me laugh.  So here is the picture of "Hurricane Hill" and "The Steps". 

I routinely go up and down these stairs two times a day...taking the kids to school and picking them up.  This is the last picture taken of our awesome steps lit up in the darkness.  It is now light as we walk to school.  I think I will miss seeing them all lit up.
