Valentines Day

So I have always thought it funny to make a holiday where we express our love to each other.  Shouldn't we be doing this daily.  It just seems so silly.  So it is not my favorite holdiay.  But, we did have pink pancakes in the morning in the shape of hearts.  I made pink mashed potatoes at dinner.  However, I was ill prepared for what my daugher brought home from school.

                       

She has a little boy in her class named WILL.  She and Will seem to have a bit of an affection for each other.  I suppose I didn't realize how much.  He gave her earrings, necklace and a bear.  SERIOUSLY??? How did I miss this.  Yikes! She is growing up too quickly.  A visit with the teacher and his parents...and it is agreed that they will remain...JUST FRIENDS...they are only 9 after all.  I blame the hair.

Side note:  Will is African American...and asked if we are okay with color.  Made us laugh.
